WIP (Work In Progress) Wednesday #1

I guess it's time to start keeping up with this.  For now, I am only listing the recent and active stuff.  I will have to take an inventory before next Wednesday for the rest...

Ongoing projects:

Supernova Quiltalong
I have completed the top.  The back needs to be ripped and re-pieced.  Then on to sandwiching and quilting.  It will not be done in time.

Mod Times Quiltalong
I have started piecing the top.  Please forgive the awful picture.  My living room just doesn't get enough light.  I just learned from my sister that she wants a king sized quilt.  I guess some math is in order before I continue.

Ogee Quiltalong
I am actually completely caught up on this one.  Woohoo!  All of my pieces are cut and stacked; ready to go. And, I just have to say, that my itty bitty rotary cutter is just about the best tool for cutting these curved pieces.  It made my life so much easier!

Completed tops awaiting quilting:
I have so many...these will show up next week after I inventory and photograph them...

On Hold:
I'll update this section after the inventory as well.

This week's stats:
New projects - 0
Completed projects - 0
Currently in progress - 3 (as far as you guys know...)

I am linking up to Freshly Pieced for WIP Wednesday with Lee and so should you!

  4. My living room isn't large enough either to accommodate a good quality photo, not enough light either. Love the Mod quilt, I have seen quiet a few and I am putting on my wish list of quilts to do. Love the fabric your cutting your circles out of.

  7. I can't wait to see your Ogee Quilt-along quilt. I wanted to do that but the curves intimidated me. I have a lot of problems with Drunkard's Path and figured it would be similar. Someday... But for now I will just look at yours. Also love your colors on the Mod Times QA. Great!

  9. I'm loving your Supernova quilt top, it's looking really good. I have problems with light as well, then if I take something outside a breeze comes up, can't win. I found the teeny rotary cutter great for curves and little blocks as well.

  10. I love the supernova you are doing! And thank you, I might just get a smaller cutter for the ogee qal cutting. I am going to be behind on that but hope to catch up on the long weekend. Now I think I will get a small cutter too.

  11. Your supernova is great! Sorry about your back; I kind of feel the same way about mine, but just couldn't handle redoing. Your Mod Times is great too - kinda wish I had joined that one too!
