I can't believe how remiss I have been in posting. I lost my last job and got a new one (with a little overtime) and have been swamped! Not to mention, bowling league, softball league and an hour commute (each way). At the moment, over time is over and softball league is finished (2nd place in div 2! WOOT!), so I decided now would be a good time to post. Don't you?
Let's start with the July bee blocks.
First up, we have the Always Bee Learning block for dreamfctry, also known as Bek. Her technique was paper-piecing and she chose a block called Tallahassee. Let me just say that it was tough. I accidentally cut where I shouldn't more than once...Sorry Bek.
Next up, we have the Quilting NewBEEs block for Marci @ Marci Girl Designs. She chose a Scrappy Log Cabin. I just adored these ones. So easy and lots of creative freedom.
Now, for the best part. My mother-in-law and her friends (Peggy & Loretta) went on a shopping trip to Fabric Shack. Awesome place! If you are ever in the central Ohio area, you should make a special trip out there.
When she shops, I sometimes get text messages about fabric with an option to buy. :) Best home shopping channel ever! Here is what will be coming home to me from this trip. Although, I will be getting a Layer Cake and not a Charm Pack. LOL
