WIP Wednesday - 11/30/2011

I Also linked up with Debbie at A Quilter's Table for Tuesday at My Table.  Make sure you link up all your holiday goodies there!  (FYI - The link is still open right now to link up anything you made last week.  Thanksgiving...hint hint...)

Debbie needs a button for her Tuesday at My Table. Any artsy people who would like to be awesome and create one for her? Who am I kidding? You're all artsy. LOL Let's see if we can come up with a good one for her. You can email it to me at iammaryburke @ Who knows...maybe the best button will get a little somethin'-somethin'.

The only thing I have worked on this week is binding my spiky zig zag quilt.  It is finished and has a new home with my nephew.  Unfortunately, I didn't get a chance to get the photographs I would have liked.  :)

Pardon my unquilty stuff...

While at my mom's, I decided to take on some treat making.  It was my first time for both, but I made Spicy Caramel Popcorn (recipe by Smitten Kitchen) and Spiced Cocoa Roasted Almonds (recipe by Gimme Some Oven).

Both of these sites have some amazing recipes and you should definitely check them out.  :)

I have been teaching myself to draw zentangles.  My sister asked for a bird.  What do you think?
