WIP Wednesday - 11/9/2011

Okay.  This will make 2 weeks in a row of posting WIP Wednesday.  Yay me!  I hope to make this a more regular thing.  I am hoping to make blogging a more regular thing.  :)  We'll see how that goes.


I apologize for the crappy photos, but each link goes to one.  Also, each quilt needs a name and I couldn't think of a creative/ironic/totally rad name to use.  Feel free to help me out.  If I use the name you suggest, you might get a little somethin' somethin'.  I'm just sayin'.

First up, I made 2 mosaic blocks.


Ongoing:
• Supernova - I have done a little more quilting in the border
• Spiky Zig Zag Quilt - needs the binding finished

Almost complete tops awaiting borders:
• Rainbow Confused Churn Dash Quilt
• Star Medallion Quilt
• Terrain Jelly Roll Quilt
• Brown/Green Quilt
• Pink/Orange/Gray Quilt
• Black/Yellow Quilt
•
Completed tops awaiting quilting:
• Asian Mystery Quilt

Completed quilts awaiting binding
NONE

No progress:
• Batik Dear Jane Quilt - about 6 blocks done
• Metallic Dear Jane Quilt - about 6 blocks done
• Various Table Runners - needs some ripping done and then re-sewn
• Rainbow Tulip Flower Quilt - this one needs the borders ripped off and put back on as well as some  seam repair
• Asian Bowtie Quilt - needs some more blocks pieced
• Pink/Brown/Teal Mystery Quilt - still in zip locks...
• Yellow/Gray/Green Mystery Quilt - also in zip locks...
• RYB Rocketship Mystery Quilt - all the mistakes ripped out and put back in the zip locks...where they belong.  So there.
• Ogee QAL - started.
• Mod Times QAL - also started.
• Pink/Blue/Brown Quilt - pieces cut...none sewn.
• Batik BOM (6in & 12in) - 1.5 months done...yeah, it's over a year old.
• Puff Quilt Dog Bed - still collecting scraps and making puffs
• Crazy Quilt BOM - pieced a few of the blocks, but never embellished them.  oops.
• Red/Teal/Gray Mystery Quilt - blocks are made.  that is all.
• Blue/Orange Half Square Triangle Quilt - all cut

  3. Wowwww, that is an amazing number of quilt tops! I'm terrible at naming quilts, so I have no suggestions... but your mosaic blocks look great! :)

  7. I agree with everybody else, that's quite a list! So much fun colorful stuff going on here! I'm terrible with names so I'm drawing a blank but if I can think of anything for any of them I'll let you know!

  16. Well; first off...great list you have..beautiful quilts too. How about 'Lemon Parfait' for the yellow/black one? 'Linked Crossing' for the one before that...pink/ something..lol. I'll have to go back and look again. I'll email you the rest...lol.

  27. I was tired looking at my list...I am tired reading yours!!! I am working on my last puffy quilt for a baby...but man...a dog bed out of puffies. Kind of enticing!!

  47. Ah...you have a to do list that rivals mine. :) I can never think of cool names either. They are just descriptive like, "Baby Jane's Tumbler Quilt." :)
